If losing a critical football game isn’t embarrassing enough, watching thousands of fans leave in droves before the game is over is even more depressing. With every quarter that passed, I lost hope for a favorable outcome of yesterday’s Broncos/Chargers game. According to my mom, the seven paragliders that flew over Invesco Stadium and onto the field before kickoff were the most exciting part of the game. And my dad fell asleep at the top of the fourth quarter. I fixed that with a hard nudge. As for Steve and me, we stayed awake and paid attention the entire game. I even have bathroom tricks to minimize time away from the game. I would share them with you, but then I would have to wait longer in the secret lines. In any event, as you may know, this particular game was painful to watch. I am a wonderful fan though:
